I've finally finished making my bead cabinet. I used scrap wood that I took from an old chest of drawers. It is narrower than the usual cabinet and I have hung the short bead chains instead of lying them on the shelves. I am hoping to add another shelf at the top to house the bead cubes.
Wow - seriously, that is amazing. I am in awe of anyone who can make things. I hope you and our students will get much joy from it for years to come.

ReplyDeleteI wish I lived near you so I could apply for my son to participate in your learning community. He is 6 & 1/2 years old and we are homeschooling. I have been trying to decide on whether or not to spring for the bead cabinet. My son was in a Children's house and gravitated to the math subjects. Now, after using ShillerMath for a while he doesn't care for it so much. So I stopped and I am trying to get up to speed on implementing Montessori math at home. Thank you for this wonderful blog!
